I am currently a research fellow at Queen's University Belfast in Northern Ireland, focusing on designing optical and photonic instruments, specifically non-invasive computational imaging techniques for biomedical applications. I obtained a PhD in Applied Physics and Optics from Universitat Jaume I in Castellón de la Plana, Spain in 2019. During my doctorate, I was fortunate to have the guidance of Prof Enrique Tajahuerce and Prof Jesús Lancis. Afterwards, I worked as a postdoctoral research fellow in Prof Jacopo Bertolotti's group at the University of Exeter in Devon, United Kingdom. As a result of my professional life, I have gained a strong background and experience in optics, Fourier optics, imaging systems, optical devices, and numerical analysis. My research work has been published in several high-impact journals such as the Journal of the Optical Society of America A, Applied Optics, Optics Letters, and Nature Communications. Additionally, I have participated in various national meetings and international congresses, where I was honoured with The Best Paper Award from SPIE Photonics Europe 2018 in Strasbourg, France.
